Biography of Walt Disney

I chose to read about Walt Disney for my biography study because I have always been in love with Walt Disney characters especially Mickey Mouse and Piglet. So I wanted to use this chance to get to know the creator of Disney characters more.

I enjoyed reading his biography because I discovered some amazing facts that I would not have known if I have never read about him. Walt's father have had a great impact on his views about Jews and being prejudice. Also, Walt thinks that he is actually adopted and spends his life searching for his real mother.

I'll uncover some more amazing facts about him later~~stay tuned!

Romeo & Juliet

Our class has watched 3 movies in relations to Shakespeare and the creation of Romeo & Juliet for the past two weeks.
First, we watched a comedy-like version of Romeo & Juliet, which was hilarious and grabbed my interest right away. We also watched Shakespeare in Love, which was meant to show us more about Shakespeare's personality. The last movie that we just finished today is the modern version of Romeo & Juliet, which used guns instead of swords and portrayed the son and daughter of two rival companies falling in love.
I find watching these movies extremely helpful because two weeks ago, I knew nothing about Romeo & Juliet, but now I have a clear understanding of the play. I can't wait to start reading the play!
